FRINGES: The “Not So Modern” Fashion Appendage.

Matthew Chapter 9:20-22

Clothing and style of dress has been an indicator of an individual’s nationality, persona and means for countless generations. Fringes as pertaining to the Israelites, it’s commanded by their God the Creator of Heaven and Earth to be worn in the borders of their garments with a ribbon of blue upon them “And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring” to be worn throughout countless generations recorded in Numbers Chapter 15:32-39.

                   

   

But What Are Fringes???

Fringes are an open broken border or a loose edging, typically always found on garments and furniture as a decorative trim. It is believed to have been worn widely in many civilizations, and by all classes of people. There are countless images from different eras with detailed sculptures, statues, and written accounts that give us a depiction as to what the ancient embellishment was like. Some historians have uncovered that fringes were so relevant they would be pressed into clay as signatures for contracts. Fringes were worn on the two most basic garments worn in Mesopotamia: the skirt (dress) and the shawl.

Over time fringes that were placed on garments became more and more decorative and lavish. In this American Captivity the Israelites commonly mentioned as Indians or Native Americans have used various forms of fringes and ribbon of blue on their garments for centuries after migration from their allotted land in Palestine. One of Christ’s most notable miracle among his nation include the touching of his fringes! Matthew 9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment.

Remarkable, as it was the word hem here indicates Christ who is the word of God; wore fringes as commanded by the Father.

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you

The beginning of months is the month of Abib, ordained 

by the Almighty GOD this month generally falls during 

the modern day months of March/April.

Abib is a Hebrew word that means standing corn. The 

celebration of the new year in the month of January was 

falsely kept by the ancient Romans. This celebration was 

the worship of the false deity Janus. Janus was consider 

a gatekeeper. He holds a janitor's staff in his left hand 

and keys in his right hand when acting as a guardian of 

entrances and exits. The Romans also considered him 

responsible for bringing agriculture and law to mankind. 

This false deity  influenced what continues today as 

January 1st celebration that requires the worshiper to 

look both forwards and backwards a for a gateway for 

good resolutions.

Sabbath Blessings To The Daughters Of THE MOST HIGH

Cinnamon Raisin Unleavened Bread -- YHWH"S Girlz -- For Israel

Preparation time:   Approx 45 minutes

Ingredients
1 1/2 Cups Of Unbleached All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 Cups Of Sugar(Depends On Your Sweet Tooth)for best results use equal sugar and flour amounts. 
2-3 Eggs
2 -3 Sticks Of Real Butter(Melted)(Salted)
1 Teaspoon Of Vanilla Extract
1 Tablespoon Of Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon Sugar
1/3 Cup Of Raisins 
Preheat oven to 350/375 degrees

Instructions:

1) Add flour, Cinnamon and Cinnamon Sugar together in mixing bowl
and mix well.
2) Add in eggs and Vanilla Extract (mix well)
3) Melt Butter In Microwave or inside stove and add to mixture.
4) Grease an 8 inch cake pan.
5) Pour Mixture in pan
6) Sprinkle Raisins over mixture and use a spatula or fork to lightly
mix the raisins in.
7) Bake for approx 35-45 minutes (Depends On Your Pan Size) or until 
light brown.(Use The Toothpick Test) 
8) Cut into squares with butter knife.  Cool squares and enjoy!
